  1. Timer is a freeware program written by: H. Allen Cravener.
  2. No Money may be charged for TIMER.EXE.   If you use it as part of a software
  3. package that you are marketing, then you must give me credit for my work.
  4. You do not however have to pay me any money for TIMER.EXE.

  6. Call timer from within your batch files to create a short or long delay.
  7. Timer will accept a range of 1 to 2,147,483,647.
  8. The Larger the number the longer the delay. 
  9. All delays can be aborted by pressing ESC.  You will then need to abort
  10. your batch file by pressing Ctrl C (^C)...
  11. Example of a short delay would be  timer 5000
  12. TIMER.EXE must be in the current directory or in your path.
  13. Start there and adjust the value up or down till you have the delay you
  14. want.       timer ?  or timer with no parameters will get you a help file.
